Trick or Treat? Definately a TREAT!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween evening! My kids and I stayed in but they loved dressing up and handing out candy to other kids! Gloria was sporting one of the tutus I made along with some other things available through G Baby's Boutique! Kyden was cute in his cowboy outfit!

Last night I had the pleasure of seeing a picture of a very very cute 5-month-old wearing a tutu, hat, and fairy wing set from G Baby's! Here she is with her mommy!

Tis the season for... Wreaths!

I had a special request to make a wreath this week and I love the wreath so much I am tempted to make one just like it for myself! The requests for this wreath were to include white and blue with maybe some pinecones and a little bit of green (to possibly go on a green door). Keeping in mind the person it was for I didn't want to do too much glitter/glam but keep it more mature. This wreath can be used during the fall, winter, and could possibly even go for 4th of July!

This wreath is a branch wreath with the following embellishments: Large white flowers, medium and small blue flowers (with gold centers), pine leaves, pine cones, a white & blue bow, and white glitzy embellishments.

A regular price for a wreath like this is $55 + shipping (not sure what that is at the present moment but can find out soon). If you are a family member your price for a wreath similar to this one is $50 + shipping!

BIG NEWS!

While I love my work with G Baby's Boutique it doesn't pay enough for my school loans and I am starting full time work at an investment company tomorrow! For the little guy

I have ideas for the little guy in your life! This train set is all handpainted and each car connects to each other by magnets. Price depends on number of cars, colors, and embellishments. I plan on making one for my son for Christmas! I can also make a girly train!

A busy week!

I have not forgotten you all! It has been a few days since I have posted but I have worked diligently to create several beautiful tutus this week and I am preparing for a crazy ride starting in a week and a half! I will be returning to the Clayton Farmer's Market this weekend with LOTS of goodies! So, if you are in the area you should stop by!

I'm sorry I don't have any pictures for you today but I will try to have some for you tomorrow! I have some wonderful colors including red, white, black, hot pink, light pink, purple, lavendar, orange, and green!

This bow board was made for a precious little lady! This takes a few hours to make, but I believe it is well worth the time!

Another Day- Another Joy!

I missed you all yesterday, but I took the day off to celebrate my wonderful husband's birthday! Later in this post I will show you pictures of the frames I made him (unfortunately we can't afford those cowboy boots he wants right now).

I went to the Clayton Farmer's Market again today and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the fun people we met! I even tried blueberry salsa and it was AMAZING! Who knew? It has a sweet to spicy taste that has me wondering how it even works. If you live in the area stop by my booth and a few others around me for some good food and products! Next week there will be a hog roast something-or-other with some music so check it out!

It has come to my attention that some people who get updates with each new post are not able to get the pictures in their messages. If you are having this problem, please let me know so I can figure out what to do about it. Until it is fixed I encourage you to take a peek at the blog if the post says something that interests you! Now for Alan's gift. He was really excited about these frames - more than I thought he would be considering it isn't a normal guy gift. He knows how much love goes into everything I do, so getting four things must be really good, right?

After posting a picture of my "beauty" mini boards I had a great friend ask me to do a set of "Family" mini boards! She wanted brown, black, and cream for her boards and this is what I did! She loves it and so do I!

I'm sorry some of these are flipped the wrong way. My computer has been acting silly with my pictures lately. The price of these mini boards is the same as the "beauty" mini boards- $40 + shipping (for 6 letters- $5 per extra letter). You choose the word and the colors! Peony Flower Clips!

I found some very pretty artificial peony flowers and made them into clips for those lovely little ladies! These, like the gerber daisy clips, are $5 each and have a large rhinestone in the middle! They are great for pictures as well as everyday wear! I currently have 24 different colors (one of each). Get yours now before I take them to the market on Saturday! Sports Fans Unite!

We even have something for the sports fans! I can make boards with the colors of your favorite team- possibly with the team name! The following board was made for a Florida Gators fan (and a dear friend of mine).

This is a great gift idea for those friends and family members in college or who have an absolute favorite sports team! This board would be $40 + shipping.

Some people are interested in tutus for sports teams. I am a little limited on the colors of tulle I can get but if you have an idea please send it my way and I can see what I can do!

Mini Boards- not just for the little ones!

I love making boards for the little ones in our lives, but sometimes it is nice to make bow boards with a more mature look. I made this set of "Beauty" mini boards for my personal use, but I can make something similar for you too! Each board is about 4" squared.

The price for these mini boards (up to 6 letters & 2 colors) is $40. It is $5 per extra letter/board and $2 per extra color. The boards you receive will be all hand-painted and I try to make each board look different.
Here are the mini boards on my wall! I used the Velcro stuff that is easy to get off the walls if you want to take them down at a later time.

Loving it!

I have done mini boards for two other people. These boards can be made into bow boards as well but I have not done that with either of the sets because one was for a boy and the other was for a teenage girl. You can, however, hang the boards horizontally or vertically.

Market Day!

I had a great time at the market today in Clayton, NC! I want to thank those who stopped by and those who purchased some of my items! You are appreciated! Although the foot traffic was slow today I had the opportunity to meet some fun people and friendly neighbors. The youth group kids from Clayton First Baptist Church that stopped by my stand were really nice and made me think of the days I was in and helped with youth group.

Anyway...here are some pictures from my stand today and of some tutus I have done!
